Steven & Amy Torrisi
Born and raised on the Granite Belt, Steven and Amy Torrisi share a deep connection to the Ballandean region. With a rich family history in the area and a passion for creating unique experiences, they dreamed of building something truly special—an escape that blended luxury with the breathtaking beauty of Queensland’s wine country.
That dream took shape in 2020, sparked by an idea and brought to life when they found the perfect piece of land where Barrel View Luxury Cabins now stands. Balancing their young family and their involvement in a well-established family business in Stanthorpe, Steven and Amy poured their hearts into every detail of Barrel View.
“Barrel View has been a great accomplishment for us. To be able to push design, engineering, and skill sets to create such an iconic property is pretty rewarding,” said Steven.
Of course, bringing the vision to life wasn’t without its challenges, but seeing the final result—three architecturally designed wine-barrel-inspired cabins sitting proudly in the heart of the Granite Belt—made it all worthwhile.
“We completed Barrel View in October 2022, and I still get lost in its allure and the desire to immerse myself in the endless views,” said Amy.
